Wede Aba also known as African Nutmeg or Efuru or Pèbé. It is gotten from the calabash nutmeg tree which grows naturally in evergreen forests from Liberia to Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Angola and also Uganda and West Kenya. It can be blended with other spices for soup as well as seasoning meats. For example pepper soup in Cameroon and Nigeria, Mbongo Tchobi in Cameroon.
